A Stroll Down Willow Hgts

This is my neighborhood. Nearly two years ago my husband and I bought a lovely little house. As time has progressed I've come to love everything about my neighborhood. From the lovely view, the convenient shopping and the amazing people -- Clarksville is our home.

Day 16/365 Reserved

From a school a half a mile from my house. Playground is reserved for the children.

Day 13/365 An Encouraging Word

When I think of encouraging words I first think of "hope" and "love" but to me "trust" is also extremely important. Trust encourages us to love even when our hearts have been pushed to their limits.

Day 11/365 In Good Hands

This is the photo my husband wanted me to use:

Pampered Paws

Navi has been so good lately that I decided to pamper her a bit today. I brushed her teeth, cleaned her ears then clipped and filed her nails. To top it all off I polished her pretty paws.

Pretty paws!

Burritos & Baskins Date Night

At Burritos Mexican Restaurant, Derek tried Roja Salsa. They didn't agree.

Derek's enormous nachos.

My equally enormous burrito.

Delicious Caramel Chocolate Truffle ice cream.

Derek ordered his favorite, chocolate ice cream with peanut butter topping sundae.

Our total. Yikes! Haha.

Day 8/365 Blue

One of my favorite pendants.

Day 7/365 Natural Treasure

I've had this ivy since we moved into our house. It was given to me by our next door neighbor. I've been meaning to plant it literally the whole time we've been living here. I treasure it though. I hope to have it the whole time we live here.

Day 3/365 Winter Sports

Walking Navi in the snow is the closest I’m getting to any kind of winter sport.

Thursday, January 2, 2014

Snow? Yes.

It actually snowed today, for longer than 3 minutes. The accumulation was less than an inch but it didn't stop me from taking Navi out to see her first snow ever. She was confused, interested, and excited.
